I certainly have been busy with one weekend attending a charity Harley Davidson Rally. The following celebrating my birthday with family.  My girlfriend Linda King of Linda's Quiltmania
surprised me with three more completed blocks to show all the store owners in BC.  Yes I had
a fabulous 56th birthday as my niece & nephew gave me an I Pad .....I KNOW!!!!!!!

I am a very lucky sales rep to have a talented friend who will help me make samples to take on the road.  The above block is January of Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts for Moda's new monthly program. It is using already fusible silhouettes with complete instructions for raw edge applique.  I have decided to hang the blocks per month rather than making a 12 block quilt.  Can't wait to show all the quilt stores in British Columbia.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pat Sloan for the first time and she is a truly wonderful lady.  Her new line is called Bobbins and Bits by Moda and it is fantastic!!

Better Late than never.........

This is something I have been working on.  I made this quilt without borders at Quilt Hawaii in 2007 and bought a 2nd kit from Charlotte Angotti to make with borders.  Finished it last week.  Yes, this is one of those long outstanding UFO's.
