I certainly have been busy with one weekend attending a charity Harley Davidson Rally. The following celebrating my birthday with family.  My girlfriend Linda King of Linda's Quiltmania
surprised me with three more completed blocks to show all the store owners in BC.  Yes I had
a fabulous 56th birthday as my niece & nephew gave me an I Pad .....I KNOW!!!!!!!

I am a very lucky sales rep to have a talented friend who will help me make samples to take on the road.  The above block is January of Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts for Moda's new monthly program. It is using already fusible silhouettes with complete instructions for raw edge applique.  I have decided to hang the blocks per month rather than making a 12 block quilt.  Can't wait to show all the quilt stores in British Columbia.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pat Sloan for the first time and she is a truly wonderful lady.  Her new line is called Bobbins and Bits by Moda and it is fantastic!!

Better Late than never.........

This is something I have been working on.  I made this quilt without borders at Quilt Hawaii in 2007 and bought a 2nd kit from Charlotte Angotti to make with borders.  Finished it last week.  Yes, this is one of those long outstanding UFO's.

I have been gone a long time, my apologies!! This picture is a little blurry but that is us just trying to get our little 3 year old great nephew Wyatt to slow down long enough to have his picture taken with his new Eye Spy Quilt.  I was able to list 150+ things for him to find.  If he slows down lol

I made this quilt for my niece & nephew.  I am really pleased how it turned out and it was made with Moda's Evening Mist fabric line.  Girlfriend Jeri quilted it for me.

It is overcast and a bit chilly today but I have this beautiful bush to enjoy.  Makes the spring showers enjoyable ! Have a great weekend!!

Well Happy Monday Everyone!! I am showing the finished Diamond Quilt from a class I took with Linda King of Linda's Quiltmania.  I was also lucky enough to have her quilt for me.  This quilt was
donated to the Kamloops H.O.G. chapter for their 25th anniversary.  Hence the Harley's....

I just made up this little panel quilt using RJR fabrics "Days of Yore designed by Sue March of Whistlepig Creek Productions.  I think the little boy out at the lake this summer will enjoy it!!
April Showers seem to have hit our area so maybe off to my quilting room today.

I LOVE my job being a fabric rep. One of the best things is seeing new lines coming soon.  This is Barbara Brackman's new line for Moda coming in July called "Civil War Jubilee"  Yummy!!!

 
This is one of my favourite quilts in my house.  It was made using a Bali Pop by Hoffman Fabrics by my friend Linda King.  I hope everyone is seeing signs of spring in their area this weekend.  Enjoy this lovely weekend!!
